Great system. Waterproof camera!

I really like this system. It's inexpensive but has features I appreciate. For example the screen - it used to be the case with these small monitors that if there was no video input you would see static (salt and pepper) or a blue screen. If the screen is on but the camera is not, it will have a black screen. Simple but it makes a big difference. The camera is really waterproof. I opened the back cover (see photo) and saw that the case was completely filled with sealant. I've read reviews of other brands that have condensation inside. The installation instructions are detailed and give you multiple ways to connect the wires. It's very easy. You choose how you turn on the screen and/or camera (ignition on or reverse). And the screen has an input for the second camera! You can buy an extra camera and install it anywhere. The rear camera input has priority. I'm going to mount a camera on my front bumper so I can check traffic at tight intersections before I drive off. The camera is a bit difficult to tilt. This is because it has tiny ridges on the body halves that form the "barrels" on which it spins. If you find it really hard to rotate, you can remove or loosen the four small screws that attach the camera to the license plate bracket. I removed one side completely and unclipped the other to remove the camera, then smoothed out the burrs on the barrels with a razor blade. There isn't much material, the seam of the body simply coincides with the seam of the body mounts. If a seam was rotated 90 degrees, this wouldn't happen and the camera would rotate better. Plus, most of the kinks are eliminated with this affordable and exceptional supplement. A little more information about my usage. for my wife's car (Volvo C70) as a backup camera and I'm getting another for my Volvo V70R to monitor my motorcycle trailer.
