I am completely disappointed with the embroidery portion of this machine. If I could return it I would! Was 2 times under guarantee. Now the workshop says there are no mechanical problems with it. I can't reach Singer. Their phone system has been "challenging" for the past 2 weeks and they are not responding to 4 emails I have sent. If you only plan on sewing and using the fonts and embroidery patterns provided by this machine, that's great. If you want to download designs from other sources, don't waste time! This machine sews well, but when I started to embroider appliqués from purchased downloads from other websites, it became a nightmare! I downloaded additional software as recommended. I used the stabilizers and needles recommended in the manual. I tried other stabilizers, needles, bobbins and thread recommended by other embroiderers. It's hit and miss!
