For its time (mine was made in July 2006 so is over 9 years old) it was a killer monitor. The USB ports are also very useful. It's kind of a holdover these days, with a 4:3 aspect ratio and DVI without HDCP instead of HDMI or DisplayPort. It's also HEAVY, especially with the stand. Incidentally, the tripod is a gem with its height range and ergonomic setting. Today there are monitors with aspect ratios of 16:9 and even 21:9 or 4K and LED monitors that are thinner and weigh significantly less. - but if you find one at a reasonable price like I did, you won't regret your purchase for a second. But mine is still valid.
