I have purchased at least 4 different brands of this type of secateurs over the years with varying results. I have a Makita cordless reciprocating saw. Thought I'd try them to see if they're any better than generics. Two blades broke off at the base within 5 minutes of use. I sent them back without trying the last one. Out of over 20 other blades I've used, this has only happened to me once when I got stuck and twisted or when the blade was getting old. They broke with normal use! I think they are too thin and vibrate too much. I will not buy again
