Bought this bib for my grandson's 1st birthday when he nibbles his first piece of cake. I was disappointed with the quality. The knit material it is made of is no thicker than a thin t-shirt. This bib does not protect clothing. There is nothing to keep food, saliva or drink from leaking out. There is nothing special about this "handcrafted" breastplate. The inscription looks pressed under the influence of heat. Although it looks cute, it is best used to take a picture of the birthday girl inside before eating. Size: From the Velcro to the bottom edge of the bib 11 inches. From chin to bottom of bib 6 1/4 inches. The breastplate is 7 3/4 inches wide. Not a practical bib and an expensive photo prop for the price.
