I bought this cage for toads or small turtles my son might find in the garden. Although the cage is larger than I expected and the price was right I was a little skeptical after reading some of the reviews saying they had received cracked cages. Unfortunately, the same applies to the cage that we received. The shipping box was in perfect condition, the plastic body of the critter cage was cracked and broken off at one corner. I'm keeping the cage because my son is about to use it. This will withstand water as the tear is in the top corner but it's a little disheartening that this new item we bought is already damaged.
