We have a Trash Can Drawer in our lower cabinets just to the side of our kitchen sink. Quite often when needing to toss something into our trash can our hands are messy, too. So pulling that drawer open just spreads the messiness around further and requires additional cleanup. But after installing this magnetic push latch on the trash drawer all that is needed is a quick push of my knee to pop it open exposing the full trash can and allowing me to deposit the messy trash into it without spreading the mess! Another push of my knee closes the trash can drawer hiding its contents until time to take out the daily trash bag. This device has the power to open the drawer even when the trash bag is filled. Plus installation was easy requiring just a couple of screws to affix it to the floor of the cabinet.
