[.] 1999 Alero now owned. It didn't start well/at all until I replaced it and the key cylinder, now it starts every time but randomly starts the heater fan which is draining the battery. The fun part is that the lock button on the switch (which goes to the switch) turns everything off (all this with NO KEYS in it). Ultimately, I'm hoping Revain lives up to its reputation and replaces this one, but since I need to get out of town I have a workaround. He can't disconnect the negative battery cable. You get what you pay for and while it looks identical to the original parts, it is not. Bite the bullet and buy ACDELCO parts.
