This ignition lock doesn't turn off everything in the car properly. Often we were stuck with a dead battery because the fans in the car kept running after the car was turned off and the keys removed. I installed the part because my old ignition didn't let my indicators work. After replacing this switch everything was fine. about a week. After a week I had problems starting the car. I ended up on a golf course and had to lug it home. took everything apart and found that the rear part of the derailleur was not seated properly due to a defect in the rear cover on the derailleur. I replaced it with a delco AC switch and no problems so far.
