Review on 🐷 Little Giant 599019 Piggyback Diaphragm Switch: Efficient Water Pump Accessory by Billy Reeves

This switch fits perfectly and easily with my Little Giant 5MSP pump. It worked exactly as it should: turn the pump on when the water level reached about 2 inches and turn it off at +-1 inch. It was DEFINITELY worth the extra money to get this low end derailleur instead of the regular RS5 which doesn't include a pump with up to 6-9 inches of water. The area I drained is an underground patio leading to a furnished basement. The patio is away from the house and has a drain. However, during unusually heavy rainfall, the runoff is insufficient and water collects. You can set up a pump with a pump set the switch to the lowest setting and it will leave +-1 inch of water. If you have a drain (mine is 12 square inches), remove the cap and place the pump with the switch attached down the drain, propping it up if necessary (I put mine on some bricks - just that one Handle of the pump stuck out.) A pump under the floor, even a few centimeters, will allow you to remove all the water.
