Strong winds affect use

Unfortunately, the new Nissan Titan models equipped with the towing package no longer have towing mirrors. So I needed an extension of the stock mirrors to tow a trailer. It was a good choice. PROS: The mirrors work well and are big enough to see around a truck towing a 31ft RV. The price is reasonable for the quality of the product. CONS: I was concerned about how securely the standard design would hold to my specific mirrors, so I added extra thick black elastic around the back of the mirror at opposite angles to ensure it stays in place in traffic. In strong winds, the size and design of the mirrors cause the mirrors to fold towards the vehicle. If you're traveling with someone who can regularly slide the passenger-side mirror back into place, it's a minor inconvenience. However, if you're driving alone, you'll have to pull off the road to fold down the mirrors, which would be both a major inconvenience and a waste of time while driving. In general, these mirrors worked well, but the problem in wind can be significant when towing.
