The silicone lid liner is now permanently attached to the inside of the lid (no more falling out) and groves are now cut into the liner to fit down on top of each paint pocket. That helps for air leakage👏I am a miniature painter who uses acrylic. If you follow my instructions, it will work perfectly.Cut a piece of blue paper shop towel or any paper towel to fit the inside of the lid.Wet it thoroughly with "distilled water” to prevent molding. Shut the box. In a few hours, depending on your climate, it will have formed itself to the lid and will never ever fall out.I have done this for years. Paints last for weeks and paper for years. ALWAYS spray with "distilled water.”As a precaution.never lay the paint holder on its side or upside down.Each paint pocket is 3/4 deep x 1” x 7/8” (close enough)A 2-1/4” plastic paint stick scooper is cleverly attached under a clasp.There are 6 very secure clasps.
