Unlike photo, there is no metal ring.
Mine didn't have metal center rings like the photo. They fit a little tight too. Broke one taking it off, of course they get taken off to be thrown away and replaced. As far as longevity: they're cut off wheels, so I don't expect them to last long. Durability, same thing. Haven't had any break on me yet. All in all, they work fine.
