This item requires special care and has a short shelf life. I had problems with algae growing on the fabric so I kept removing them to clean the aging fabric. a pain in the ass as you have to submerge the plastic frame to keep it from floating. It really is a handful. Also, the fabric on both the petals and the leaves has started to fray, which doesn't exactly help convince onlookers that your plant is real. I wouldn't buy this again. I removed it from my tank and probably either threw it away or donated it to a local thrift store. It's garbage. And expensive garbage at the same time. Definitely choose Fake Bio Orb Ferns over this piece of crap - way LESS maintenance, more realistic and more durable.
