Works great with EFI Crate engine requiring 58psi
I recently installed a new Crate Chevy engine on my old Jeep CJ. I needed 58psi in the fuel line and wanted to use a tank pump instead of an external pump mounted to the frame of something. The tank already had a 5/16 metal outlet from the intake manifold and sock filter so we measured the height, cut the pipe and clamped this pump and filter with a short rubber fuel hose so this pump was about 1/8 inch. from the bottom of the tank. Works perfect. I added an inline filter closer to the engine under the hood and now I have a fuel injected LS engine in my old Jeep with no fuel starvation issues.
