Review on 🧡 Lightweight Thread Stand - 3 Spools Holder for Home-Based Sewing and Embroidery Machines - Three Color Choices - White by Amanda Castillo

Revainrating 1 out of 5

Good for what it is

Update: Contacted the seller who wanted to return the product because of the rating below and 3 stars. He said no. They then asked if they could send me a thread to take care of. Overkill but said he was sure because they were pushy. After agreeing, they asked me to change the original estimate. They never submitted the thread but later asked why I didn't change the rating. I told them I think I should get the thread first. He hasn't gone anywhere. never received a thread. If the topic had been sent to me immediately instead of waiting for me to change the review, perhaps the sensibilities would have been different. At first I thought it was a fair price for a cheap product but I've since bought a heavy duty cast iron thread holder which was cheaper so I saved money. And it seems that the seller was only interested in buying the best rating. If that is all then the reviews here cannot be trusted. I want to be confident in the quality of what I buy from Revain. The product is inexpensive, the quality corresponds to the price. It holds the cones but is very light, so I've noticed that it runs when I sew, especially with the embroidery unit. I wasn't sure how effective it would be, so I didn't want to spend a lot of money on something and then not find it useful. This is also useful for slightly above-average quality. I often use cones because they are more economical and without a holder the line can get very tangled. It came in a very small package and was easy to assemble. I don't regret the purchase but when I'm ready to replace it I'll look for something heavier and better

Pros
  • Embroidery thread and floss
Cons
  • Could have chosen a newer model
