1. No instructions. So I'm not sure if I'm doing something wrong. Also, there are three pins in the kit that don't seem to make sense. One is actually 5/16" in diameter and the little one is not 1/4". A standard drill bit that fits drill bushings is messy. I don't have a set of pins so I can't measure, is it just a gap or is the set actually metric and a compromise.2. The parallelogram weakens as the drill vibrates against the drill sleeve. I tried really tightening the thumbscrews with pliers but still didn't work.3. Centering the width of the board doesn't make sense. "0" is somewhere about 1.656 inches from center. This gives the board a width of 3.3125 inches. Strange. Since I've spent money and used it, I'll see if I can improve its usefulness. Until I do, I'll be using my old manual dowel placement method. The accuracy of this product right now is no better than what I have done before.
