While the scanner connects easily to the Clover POS when exposed to a product with a 2D and a classic 1D barcode next to it (like a coke bottle with a 2D URL plus 1D-UPC) , NONE of the control codes for disabling 2D codes prevented it from reading the 2D code on the bottle along with the 1D UPC, resulting in Clover getting a composite code and assuming that we had to add a new article. This was the case when testing at home. When we set it up in the store, the scanner just stopped reading after a few minutes of activity. If I unplug and plug back in, it may or may not work. He couldn't read half the barcodes in the store--let alone. those that were on shiny or rough surfaces. I gave up completely and ended up using Clover's built-in camera scanner feature, which scanned every time. I am ordering an omnidirectional scanner to replace this junk.
