The main screw on the old security camera mounts I used are rusty and these mounts need to be rust resistant so I ordered two of these. I only installed them a few days ago so it's too early to tell if they will rust. They were very easy to install under the soffit of my house. I press the bracket to the ceiling and then put a Sharpie marker through each of the three holes so I know where to drill them. I use my own stainless steel screws to attach the fixture to the reveal because I don't know if the screws that come with the fixtures are stainless steel or not. Perhaps the best thing about these mounts is that I can mount them to achieve any camera angle I want.
