I am a retired aircraft mechanic with over 30 years of experience. I removed the drain plug and drained the oil. I cleaned the back of the drain body and began installing the fumoto drain into the body. About 3/4 of the way it got full. Before the blue washer was installed and before the threads were more than tight, the male threads fitted the body smoothly. I went to my tool box, pulled out a set of internal NPT removal plugs, just popped them in and twisted the broken threads out of the case. I cleaned and reinstalled the drain plug with no problems. I don't recommend this "trying to be made in China garbage" thing. Thanks to China
