Ultra wide angle up to 36mm equiv (18mm) makes everything much easier. I used to shoot exclusively with fast primes, so I gravitated towards the 12mm f/1.4 Panaleica, but this kid came along and I pulled the trigger on the purchase. Haven't regretted a single moment. As well as a heavier and chunkier design that's easy to get used to, this lens offers a wide variety of perspectives with adequate light and image quality delivered by Leica design and Japanese engineering. Be sure to try this lens and you might fall for it too.
