The packaging really does look like what a butler would put on a silver platter. If we had a butler or a silver platter, that is. The truth is that most of my jewelry is not so expensive that most people go to great lengths to keep it, but constant maintenance seems like the right thing. Pearls set in silver are disastrously difficult to clean and it is best to prevent tarnishing. These little tabs have space for a date stamp as a reminder to change them every few months or as needed. The paper is not leather or plastic like regular little black tabs. Let's see how these work.
