I am allergic to most cheap metals commonly used for earring hooks, but am not allergic to 925 sterling silver so bought I use these 925 sterling silver hooks to replace them with earrings. different earrings I buy. Unfortunately, my ears reacted to these hooks as if they were cheap metal, becoming red and inflamed after just an hour of wearing. This reaction makes me wonder if they really are flawless (or maybe have minimal coverage, if any). Still, it was a hassle to change these hooks twice and it's really a shame I don't have any hooks to carry.
