Review on Dorman 973-508 HVAC Blower Motor Resistor Kit for Multiple Compatible Models by Scott Goff

The fan blew very weakly at almost the same speed. Bought hoping it would fix the problem and indeed the fan is blowing like a jet engine again. I connected the wires and twisted them together. It took about an hour to take everything apart and put it back together. It was really a simple project. Only for a week but so far it's working fine. UPDATE: It stopped working after about 60 days. Will swap for a GM OEM part now and you're done. The Dorman's price has also increased and is now almost the same as the OEM on the Rock.
