Be careful when setting the combination!

The numbers don't match. In my case, I set up the new combinations according to the instructions, but I noticed that the numbers are slightly different. I tried to straighten it but now I can't open the lock. I know I've set the correct combination and have tried different combinations of numbers similar to my combination to no avail. Luckily I didn't put keys in to test the combo first. Although the product is well designed and durable, it is of no value to me as I cannot open it.
