I only installed these things a week ago but they work quite well in many lighting conditions. To be honest I almost think they might be too bright! But it's nice to know that I'll be seen from miles away! Notes on installation and connection: I decided to use and install the "cock fuse - max. 10 amps" (see Fig. 2) on my existing ACC fuse. I then connected the red fuse wire to the 18 gauge red primary wire that ran through the firewall to the engine area, ran along one side of the engine area and was long enough to reach both headlights. I used velcro to keep the wires neat and out of the way. Both LED wires (red) were spliced/soldered to this main red wire. Note that each lamp has a current of about 1 amp, so very little current is required. The LED lighting wires (black) were spliced/soldered to the 18 gauge black primary wire and went to the frame stud of the negative battery cable and terminated to the studs with round terminals. The LED lighting wires (yellow) were connected/soldered to the turn signal positive wire to allow the turn signals to sync. I positioned the lights flat, along the inner edge of each headlight. This allowed the side light between the headlight and grille/bonnet to remain open and visible. This method was the choice for me as I was originally trying to position the headlights in front of the headlight but didn't like how the exposed LED looked when the truck wasn't running. I felt it looked better with the thin side forward. It's still very bright! Total running time: about 2 hours. Pros: Extremely bright, day and night!
