Review on 🎨 Vibrant Graphitint Pencils by Derwent - 24 Count Metal Tin (0700803) by Catherine Dierdorff

These pens are exactly as advertised. They fit well and give beautiful shades. However, I was very disappointed with the color scheme. Mostly brown and gray tones. There is a blue near gray, 2 greens are shown, but slate green is near gray, port is a shade of brown. Aubergine, as shown in the diagram, is great for shadows and is definitely purple. I wanted some color in my finished drawing so I finished it off with colored pencils as there was no yellow or orange and I needed at least 2 greens. for contrast. If you're just looking for a touch of color in your drawings, you'll love these pencils, but if you want your colors to be more defined, stick with watercolor pencils or a combination of these with colored pencils.
