I needed something to control the strobe lights that were on my Magnum lighted headache shelf with the ability to add other lights so I ordered this junction box. I didn't install, the guys from the shop who installed the headache shelves hardwired it and hooked up the strobe lights to switch F. Since the box is already connected to the battery, it will be easy for me to connect the spots, bays. and yellow beacons to other color-coded switches. The box is small enough not to be in the way, but at the same time large enough to find the right switch to turn on the backlight - when on, the toggle switch backlight is lit. Mine is mounted on the bottom edge of the dash to the right of the steering column (the store folks said they installed many junction boxes on Chevy trucks at this point). I've had this box installed for about 3 months and now use it maybe 4 times a week cheering me on for cancellations and backups - seems pretty reliable so far. I will update my review if there are any issues with it.
