Review on Pet Gear Signature Carrier 20 Pounds by Kim Kajer

I really, really wanted to like these backpacks. They are a good size for my cats and I love that you can access the carrier from both sides as well as from the top. I also like that they can be folded up if needed. I've had them for about five years now and only use them for vet visits once or twice a year. I had to rush to the vet for one of my boys and I went to put him in one of the tote bags and found the zipper was broken (it would snap if I tried to zip it up). Also, when trying to zip up, the label came off. Luckily I had another carrier for another cat, but to my dismay the zippers on that carrier broke as well. Luckily I had a spare case in the garage, otherwise I wouldn't have had a safe case for transport. They were stored in a sun protected cupboard so I don't know why the zippers failed. I think I could find someone to fix the zippers but right now I just don't trust the shipping companies to keep my cats in check. Back to the drawing board to find the best solution for my needs.
