Review on Telesteps 60324101 Telescopic Mini Ladder by Nathan Tank

Recently bought for my garden shed. The distance from the floor to the bottom of the rafter is 96.5 inches, which is slightly over the size allowed for this ladder. Not specified or unclear in the description here on the site is the distance between the bottom of the rafter and the ground above. It seems to have been designed for a shorter distance than usual here in the States. I have a 2x6 rafter with 1/2" plywood on it. The bottom line is that I got it to work by setting the bracket to 2 x 6 as low as possible to meet the requirements from the floor to the bottom of the to meet rafters and then I had to cut the bottom off about 3/4" to allow for the steps to fold. Right. It worked out great in the end and I am very happy with this ladder. It is very durable and the design is simple elegant. Big note: Other people attach the springs correctly when it's collapsed at the top - too stiff when fully extended. There were better diagrams to show the dimensions required for installation. It was a challenge for me and if you Knowing a little you won't be disappointed.Great little staircase.I'm glad I bought it.
