I bought these cables to replace old cables that kept coming out of the outlet because the terminals broke. When I switched the cable from the modem to the router, my Internet download speed dropped from 700 Mbps to 400 Mbps. I restarted all hardware and tested again with the same result. Then he returned the old cable and the speed became 700 Mbps again. I swapped them again and the speed dropped back to around 400. When I connected another cable to the Unifi AP, the AP connected at 100Mbps instead of 1000Mbps. Switch the cables back and the connection speed is back to 1000. I may have gotten bad cables because the reviews here are good, but they didn't work for me at all. They reduced both my connection speed and throughput, and it was easy to isolate and determine which cables were causing the outage.
