After sneezing red wine into my Mac keyboard I needed another and decided on a wireless keyboard. I went with the cheapest Microsoft 700 model, but it was compatible with Mac(s). The first was that the spacebar would crash intermittently, causing me to have to go back and insert spaces. I contacted the excellent MS customer service and after a few questions the person said they would send me another keyboard (the wireless mouse works fine by the way; the new one, see below). The replacement keyboard is dead. This one. I couldn't get him to talk. with a computer. I received an email from MS (surprisingly Apple!) asking if everything was ok. I said no, but I went back to Wired because I was very happy to write the experience down. Then he sent me the next most expensive combination, which works well. Thanks MS This is how I rate MS consumer relations a 6+, the product a 3+. First, Caps Lock is disabled, so I often end up with a bunch of unintentional capital letters when typing off-screen. Secondly, sometimes the mouse wheel is very sensitive, sometimes it's unresponsive and doesn't fucking scroll.
