Doesn't work on Silverado without modification

Ordered for my 2011 Silverado. The tool fits well and is ready to use. Just not on my pickup with no modifications. The part that bolts to the rocker arm bracket should have a 50% grind where the bolt you use to compress the springs is located. It had to be sanded down as there was no room to compress the springs when the tool was shipped. The tool would be at 5 if it worked as supplied. I'd rather rent a welder and make mine for $30 less.
