I couldn't use my ring until I bought this
. I messed up and threw away the ring box and tool while I was making the repair. My ring doorbell is wired and screwed to the wall. I couldn't turn it off to get the code when I switched ISPs so my doorbell didn't work with Alexa which was frustrating for me. Then a friend told me I could order replacement tools. I received it the next day and within minutes my doorbell was working again.
