Review on 🖌️ da Vinci Casaneo Watercolor Brushes in Black by Heather Shaw

This set is a great discount on really good travel brushes. The working end of the brushes is beautiful - they look good and carry a lot of colour. They go very well with my Winsor & Newton Series 7 studio brushes. Generally the dots are a bit smaller than comparable size W&N brushes - this size 10 is about my W&N size 9, the DV 6 size is about like how my WN 5 and DV 4 is similar to my WN 2 - but the tips are similar in length, while the smaller W&N Kolinsky Sable brushes (Artist's Water Color Sable line) have tips that are both shorter and smaller than the Series 7 ( similar in scope but shorter compared to these brushes). The grip/guard is a bit clunky but doesn't feel terribly uncomfortable. The vents seem barely adequate - I don't think I would risk keeping my brushes wet. The sizes in the set are a very useful choice and the case complements the brushes well. Overall I am very happy with my purchase and would recommend this set to anyone looking for a quality travel brush set.
