I was a bit suspicious based on several reviews I read and have never liked controllers from other manufacturers. However, a genuine Microsoft branded controller is very expensive. I bought them thinking it would be a cheap lesson if they turned out to be crap. They are alright. Once you put the batteries in, there's no noticeable weight difference between them and the stock controller. The sticks, d-pad, and buttons respond just like the OEM controller, and the sticks are just as firm. I've been gaming for 30 years now and I'm very demanding on my controllers, these controllers are fine. If you're reading reviews and wondering whether to buy this or try another brand, you can't go wrong. Do that.
