The circumference of this wheel is 1 meter. It counts every 1/10 turn (3.937 inches). It can convert the result to feet with one decimal place. Pros: All the features I was looking for - you can reset the counter from the handle. If you miss your target, you can backtrack and the distance will decrease. It has an auto power off feature so it won't drain the battery if you forget to turn it off. The counter is located at the top and is backlit so you can read it in low light. Cons: Not weatherproof and not durable. If the wheel falls on a hard surface, the electronics in the grip can be damaged.
