Inexpensive mats but still a waste of money

Over sixteen hundred reviews of a cheap plastic cutting mat! G'varsh, the humans are certainly fascinated by their tough, knife-proof protective surfaces. Everyone. First. For emotionally unstable people who have a neural connection to buying a cutting mat, here's my suggestion: you can buy an almost identical but slightly more durable cutting mat from IKEA for $1. The IKEA cutting mat is made from BPA-free "porous" flexible HDPE plastic and comes in a variety of colors but without the boring and unnecessary graphics. The IKEA cutting mat is slightly better with two cutting sides and thicker plastic (1.2mm). The flexible plastic cutting board mat Carrollar serves its purpose. It's large and reasonably resistant to sharp edges, including general-purpose blades and X-Acto blades. This makes the carpet ideal for handicrafts. It is cheap, therefore disposable and easily replaceable. And he's big. Note. Carpets tend to pucker when washed in hot water, so avoid this.

Pros
  • Ideal for a small home
Cons
  • Not as thick as other mats
