I'm glad I ordered a longer horizontal hook as I thought it would suffice. It's not like this. Product descriptions do not include usable dimensions; The buyer can only guess about the sizes. These supposedly "big/long" horizontal parts of the hooks are only about 3 inches long, then the about 1-inch long hook is bent up; The pictures got longer. We needed 1 to 2 inches longer than the horizontal portion of the hooks, but we managed this by supporting the baskets under the baskets instead of hanging the top of the baskets on the hooks...hence the need to use tie down straps around the baskets to stabilize before tipping over. And some of the hooks in both packages had to be crimped tighter to even drill through the bar. This requires a vise and strong hands. put on poles. Some hooks required both bends to hold the bar tighter. Their quality assurance in their creation is questionable; it is a critical point of failure if done poorly. Since about half of the 10 hooks had to be recrimped, this indicates about 50% failures...or maybe they gave us bad ones back? Once we've crimped them properly (caution! Avoid overcrimping; you can't open it again!)... To prevent catastrophic tipping over of the narrow wire baskets we were about to install, we had to bend the top corners of the rim and the bottom Corners of each basket on the bars. Then they worked. You can save money by simply using well-tightened zip ties to attach wire baskets to the posts.
