Review on AMP Research 74811 01A BedXTender Extender by Robert Abdi

Bought for my sons 2016 Toyota Tacoma TRD 4X4, I saw that a guy on the internet had it installed on his truck but another year it's not listed as suitable for my son's truck , but I didn't want the recommended one in Vee form. I think they're worried it's caught in the wheel wells or something. Either way, if you want to make the most of the space, this works great! Have used it for lumber and trips to the landfill! We had to adjust the clips on his truck's body cover, but it's no big deal. They recommend these L-Brackets (AMP Research Bracket Kit 74601-01A BedXTender HD Black $30) and Lever Quick Mount Bracket Kit 74605-01A for all models 1984-2021 Black $35.40 for installation, but I did. The L brackets are not required. I installed quick release mounts, but you probably won't need them either. I spent money on these 'recommended' items because it was my first attempt at installing one of these things and I didn't want to be left alone because I needed an 'extra' part. Don't buy these add-ons and save 65 Bones! But as you can see, it fits perfectly!
