I bought this for my son to wear to my sister-in-law's wedding. He will be adorable in it. He is very long and skinny, so I expected that I would need to alter whatever I bought. He is 4 months, but I bought the 6-9M as he was at the top end of the length according to the size chart but just below the weight.I had to pull the vest up about half an inch at the shoulders. I only had to bring it in about an inch at the waist which is odd because the shirt required a 6 inch reduction at the waist (I could have brought it in more). Why is the shirt so much bigger around than the vest which goes over it? I won't have to do anything to the waist of the pants since there are suspenders, and my son wears cloth diapers, which means a bigger waist is necessary. The pants are, however, about 3 inches too long. I think my son has average to long legs, so I expect these pants will be far too long on pretty much any baby.
