The closed clip on the air liner only deflates, it does not open the inner seal/seat to allow air to inflate anything. The open-flow screw stripped the o-ring from the end of the tool when air pressure was applied through it. I reinstalled the o-ring and disassembled the clamp on the tool to inspect for damage but found nothing wrong leading me to believe it was just for inflating the tire and not for inflation. This may be the only one I have received. Check it out before you assume it's inflating. Update: After disassembling the clamp on the chuck and removing a small bit of brass in the pusher shaft area, the tool works as it should. Well made and holds the tire valve securely as it should. It now lets air through to inflate the tire. The seller's customer service is outstanding as they contacted me to fix any issues I encountered. So I am giving this product a five star rating as this type of problem can happen with any product that is manufactured.
