Bolt straight on seemed like just what I wanted - and still is! But the item I received only lasted until I connected the air hose. The rubber seal ruptured immediately. Maybe I have a bad block, or maybe it's designed for very low air pressure (the description doesn't say anything about that). Anyway, I'm back where I was minus a few bucks.

I like them better than the bayonet cartridges that came with the gauge. For some reason, however, not both cartridges have a rotating nozzle, making one virtually useless (it's a one-piece part) to bolt onto a tire. So beware. Luckily I only needed one. I would definitely rate lower if I needed both.

Why write a review for an air chuck? Well I've always used Accu-Gauge air pressure gauges with an air cartridge on the end of the hose and they work great on the street and in the garage. However, the Accu-Gauge cartridge wears out quickly and offers no tightness. Accu-Gauge has a lifetime warranty and is always honored, but sending the sensor back becomes obsolete very quickly. For only a few dollars, this cartridge saved me a lot of trouble.

Both broke within five minutes of use. They are made from the cheapest and thinnest Chinese alloy I have ever seen. One literally fell apart in my hand just as I was about to screw in another fitting. I couldn't believe my eyes - it literally shattered on a razor-thin section of metal casing. Assuming I have two packs, I got a different one. The small pieces of tongue that touch the valve core on the stem broke off when screwed onto the stem. Incredibly bad quality!

Very nice quality. After reading some reviews I hesitated to buy it. However, I bit the bullet and decided to get them anyway. I'm very glad I did this. There was a lot of threading on the straight chuck which is why I bought this set. I threw away the second one because I didn't need it. When connecting to the pressure gauge and tires, there were no leaks. I replaced the quick connector on my gauge with a straight threaded one and it fitted perfectly. The feed clip is much, much better than those sold in big stores. It actually locks in place and doesn't leak even when used to inflate trailer and truck tires to 80psi. The screw on the chuck is also well made and works very well. You no longer need three hands: one to steady those rubber valve stems, one to hold the tire clamp, and a third to operate the lever on the air tank hose. Bought two sets. None of them work. The chuck does not let air through. I disassembled them and found that both were missing a hole to allow air to flow through the part that presses on the Schrader valve stem. However, the base sections have a shallow blind hole about 0.125 inches in diameter and about 0.125 inches deep that is offset from and into the main center hole. These blind holes are useless. The closed clip on the air liner only deflates, it does not open the inner seal/seat to allow air to inflate anything. The open-flow screw stripped the o-ring from the end of the tool when air pressure was applied through it. I reinstalled the o-ring and disassembled the clamp on the tool to inspect for damage but found nothing wrong leading me to believe it was just for inflating the tire and not for inflation. The center piece of metal that opens the Schrader valve on these chucks is too long for all the tires I've tested it on. This means that once you start screwing in, air will be let in until you screw it in deep enough to get at the rubber washer. This also applies when unscrewing after inflation to the desired pressure. Even screwing/unscrewing as fast as I could I lost more than 5psi from the bike tire in the process.
