Very easy to install. I didn't turn our fountain on for most of my attempts. So I thought it might be a dead battery. I changed the battery and the fountain still wouldn't turn on most of the time. I pressed the power button multiple times with no response, but maybe 10 minutes later when I checked it was on. This happens several times. Since I received this new remote control yesterday, this situation has happened frequently. But the good news is that if or when I can turn it on, it's very easy to turn it off! Unreliable. Updated 6/4/21: I would like to give another review of this fountain remote. The first few days were hard to turn on. BUT it's been working great ever since. We turn our fountain on and off daily and this remote has worked great ever since. At the moment I would recommend this article to anyone looking for a good remote control and if I have to replace it I will do it with the same article.
