I ordered this for "Decade Day” of spirit week at the school where I work. This dress is so cute and it’s the quintessential look for the 50’s that isn’t a poodle skirt. I took the advice of many other reviewers and ordered one size up from my usual XL- I’m 5’4” and around 205lbs and the XXL perfectly. Wore 2 petticoat skirts underneath for the right amount of flair in the skirt.The top part of the dress is a cotton blend- breathable - and the skirt is a thicker poly blend material. Loved this one so much I got it in the black and white as well!
