Has the key come loose from the case? Get it, don't go to the dealer!

BUY! This is a great money-saving solution. I paid almost $35 to have a locksmith cut the key with another replacement I bought. I returned it and got this and it worked like a charm on a 2009 Honda Accord. Another option is to buy from a retailer for $150. I would deduct 1/2 stars because one of the screws won't tighten, just keeps turning, but the other three are tight and the key doesn't move in the case or anything. It's bigger than the original case, but I don't mind asking how it works is all I care about. The first picture is of the old case showing where the plastic holding the key is broken, the second is the replacement case. fully assembled from the old shell, and the latter is on the back of the replacement shell (the screw on the top left is the one that doesn't tighten).

Pros
  • Lots of positive emotions
Cons
  • Almost never
