I have been sewing for over 60 years and consider myself quite adept with fabrics. This set is made of high quality cotton. The weave is even and smooth, the fabric is very pleasant to the touch and falls. The seams are strong, the seams are wider than average. The fabric held its color when washed and did not shrink. It's cotton so there will be a bit of wrinkling but these will be minimized if the dryer is not overloaded. extra matching fabric for curtains and accessories at a VERY reasonable price and fast shipping. Before ordering this lovely set I bought Laura Ashley bedding which was very poor quality and sent it back. It's nicer and made of a much better fabric.
