I think these storage containers are worth a try; simple, accessible and educational. I would recommend washing them by hand or in the dishwasher first and towel/air drying mine. In my experience they are safe on the bottom and top of the dishwasher. In the photos you can see the frozen curry. I was slow to thaw the countertop and it held up well without cracking. I also received all 36 containers with lids; 12 x 8 oz containers, 12 x 16 oz containers and 12 x 32 oz containers. If they get damaged from wear and tear in the future I will buy from this brand again. Update 12/30/2020 They are worth a second purchase. I will say one of them jumped but that was my fault. I overfilled the container and when the liquid in the freezer expanded it broke. Keep this in mind and allow room for expansion when freezing liquids in these items.
