UPDATE DO NOT BUY! They rust within weeks of installation! See attached pictures. Good quality product that eliminates the hood shimmy associated with stock hood latches. Installation was easy and took about 45 minutes, mainly due to the difficulty of removing the original base and fitting the new underside to the fender (getting the snug fit to insert the ratchet and find the nut proved a challenge). The only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is that even after adjusting, one side of the latch rests squarely on the hood while the other side has a gap. There's no paint job on the hood yet, but I'll keep an eye on it.
