I do not recommend in External accessories

Very complicated installation. Not to mention that the bolts vibrate from the latches as soon as the first track is played. Wouldn't recommend it.

Easy to install, good quality and good looks

Replacing the original Jeep hood latches with nice and strong metal latches is a plus; Less rattling due to loose and worn fasteners.

Great closures! - Exterior Accessories

So I had to replace the factory rubber hood latches on my wife's jeep. I found her and thought why not. So happy I bought them. They fit great and worked like a charm.

Size can be an issue.

We really liked these fenders, but on our aftermarket fenders, the bracket was too big to bolt on and line up the way we wanted. They seemed to be really durable material and well made. It just didn't fit.

UPDATE: great customer service

These hinges have been sitting for a few months and haven't seen winter yet, already rusty on the hinge bushing. Might be a defect but I doubt it, so much for aluminum UPDATE: Contacted the company and said they now have stainless steel hinges, time will tell for spares but interesting! I will update again when winter comes

UPDATE DO NOT BUY! They rust within weeks of installation! See attached pictures. Good quality product that eliminates the hood shimmy associated with stock hood latches. Installation was easy and took about 45 minutes, mainly due to the difficulty of removing the original base and fitting the new underside to the fender (getting the snug fit to insert the ratchet and find the nut proved a challenge). STRONG AS A STONE! fits hood pins

I bought these to keep the hood from rattling when driving in the wind. Add a semi-rigid rig going the other way and the hood looks like it's about to pop out! So I'm going to start with the warm up, easy! I removed the trellis to get to the bottom of the latches, that helped! Top, simple, the only problem I had was that I have a JKU. So I used the JK spacers that came with the kit. (You get 4 total, a JK set and a JL set.) Using the 'correct' one caused the latch to chafe on my hood. I can see
